About Abbis

During their veterinary studies, Rebecka and Henrik met many animals who came to the clinic only once clear symptoms had already developed. In many cases, the problems could have been detected earlier, and in some cases even prevented, through regular monitoring and preventive care. It sparked a thought: what if we could help pet owners take care of their pets’ health before problems arise? From this need, the idea for Abbis was born. We want to offer an alternative that makes it easier to take better care of our beloved pets. We believe preventive care is an important part of the future of animal health and key to helping pets live healthier, longer lives. Instead of reacting only when problems arise, we want to make wellbeing a natural part of everyday life.

Our starting point was clear: preventive pet care should be simple, smart and affordable. Our team consists of four founders: Simon, Antti, Rebecka and Henrik. What unites us is a shared passion for developing the industry and a desire to contribute to something meaningful that can improve animal health.
